Jigsaw4u are delighted to be one of the charities in the Games Aid Ballot for 2025. This means that members of the UK Games Industry can vote to support Jigsaw4u’s ‘Little Hands’ service offering Play Therapy to 5-to-10-year-old children and their families who have experienced domestic abuse.

The NSPCC state 20% (1 in 5) children have lived with an adult perpetrating DA. Based on this figure and statistics from the NHS, we estimate that 66,400 young people living in SW London have experienced trauma through Domestic abuse.

The service is the only one of its’ kind across SW London, specifically helping 5-10 year olds, who have no other options for appropriate therapeutic interventions, which seek to reduce feelings of stigma and social isolation, to help them overcome their trauma.

Unfortunately, this service has not secured funding for this year, despite overwhelmingly positive outcomes for our families who have previously benefitted from this support.

Votes and fundraising from Games Aid members can make a huge difference to help us reach more children and parents desperately in need of this vital specialist therapeutic support.

The demand for Little Hands is so extensive that our search for additional funding will continue whether we are successful with Games Aid funding or not.

A massive thank you to GamesAid members for your consideration. If you have any questions about Jigsaw4u or Little Hands, please feel free to contact our fundraising team at info@jigsaw4u.org.uk
