Our impact:

On Saturday 10th May, many of Jigsaw4u’s supporters, staff and Trustees came together to walk from Kingston station to Wandsworth Bridge to support our children, young people and families. The combined walking distance between us was an amazing 1,202km (which is 747 miles!).

747 miles walked during SW London Bridge Walk and the radius from Jigsaw4u
The radius of 1,202km from Mitcham

With this impressive distance in mind, we could have chosen to walk from Mitcham to Oslo or Barcelona. Having said this and judging by the positive feedback we have received so far… The route, scenery and the glorious weather cemented the SW London Bridge Walk to be the best option for everyone who joined us.

“Thank you so much for organising such a fabulous event. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the experience. Thanks again to you and the Jigsaw4u team. We loved being a part of it!”

– Kate Gibson, Gibsons Games

We’re incredibly grateful for such a great turnout with 66 people walking various distances and raising over £24,000 (including Gift Aid and match-funded campaigns). This figure is equivalent to funding 480 one-to-one therapeutic support sessions for our children and young people.

On behalf of everyone at Jigsaw4u, we would like to say a huge thank you to all our walkers and supporters for taking part and fundraising in our first-ever SW London Bridge Walk. And we would also like to say a massive thank you to WOW Hydrate for sponsoring the event.

Additionally, we wish to shine a spotlight on the teams that fundraised the most, being the Sunflower Squad, a group of friends who walked in memory of ‘Catherine, who walks with them everywhere they go.’ One of the members managed to secure matched-donations through their workplace at Fidelity, nearly doubling what the team has raised and we estimate their total should be over £4,000! Well done and thank you to the team for their support!

We were also joined by the CMS Walkers, three colleagues who also match-funded through the law firm they work at. They raised £2,000 and were delighted to learn that this was equivalent to supporting 40 one-to-one therapy sessions.

We sincerely hope that everyone enjoyed the walk. No matter the distance or contribution to supporting the walk, all of the walkers, donors and volunteers are Jigsaw4u champions. Your support will contribute greatly towards helping our children and families across SW London, experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties.

There is still time to donate to help us reach our full target of £28,000!

As this walk was for our 28th Anniversary-year, we were aiming to reach £28,000. Our aim for next year is to reach 100% of our target. Perhaps you’ve been inspired and might like to join us in 2026. If so, you can find out more below.

When is the next SW London Bridge Walk? Saturday 9th May, 2026

The walk is free to get involved in and is designed to be accessible to walkers of any ability. All we ask is that you fundraise what you can to help us reach our target.

In order to make this happen, we need community involvement, so let your friends, family members, colleagues and wider network know about the walk. You can team up and make a meaningful difference for our families at a time they need it most.

In order to learn more or stay up to date about the SW London Bridge Walk in 2026, send us an email stating your interest for next year’s walk on info@jigsaw4u.org.uk

Alternatively, you can…

Thank you again to all our supporters and those that helped make the walk a phenomenal experience for all involved – hopefully we can make it happen again next year!
