With the pandemic still not over and the Christmas festivities up in the air last December, Jigsaw4u wanted to spread some much needed joy and laughter by running an online joke competition.

Children and young people were asked to send in a clip of their favourite Christmas joke to be in with a chance to win a £50 Amazon gift voucher.

We received 35 entries which were posted every day in the run up to Christmas across our social media pages.

One child told us ‘I was so excited and proud when I saw my clip go on Instagram. I told all my family to watch it. I was sad not to win the voucher but my Mum I probably made someone out there laugh who wasn’t feeling that happy, so that cheered me up.’

The standard was so high, with entries dressing up, dancing and even getting their pets in on the act! With such a difficult task at hand, we asked our Ambassadors Richard Whitehead and Nathaniel Wood to judge a winner from the under 11’s age group and another from the 11 and over age group.

Nathaniel chose Nathan age 12 and Richard chose Bobby age 8.

Well done to everyone who entered, we absolutely loved posting your jokes every day.
